About Star Simulator Beta:
The Old Republic is one of Bioware’s finest RPGs, don’t let the MMO aspect fool you, the game offers the traditional Bioware style campaigns that you know and love for solo players and you can freely choose to stay playing the game this way if you wish to. To top it off, the F2P side of the game lets you play 8 unique class campaigns, that’s about 15-20+ hours per campaign depending how many side missions you decide to do along the way. They also added, not too long ago, two expansion stories, Rise of the Hutt Cartel & Shadow of Revan as part of the free to play offering. I highly recommend installing this right away for free if you have never tried it and you are looking for an old school Bioware RPG in the Star Wars universe. Each 8 class campaigns have their very own unique story and companions, then the stories merge together into republic or imperial side stories in the expansions. However, there is still unique dialogue and references to each class’s unique background and relationships. Often you will find a character that only smugglers meet, but a jedi knight doesn’t know who that is, or an enemy will threaten your background as a trooper referencing Havoc Squad or even references to your choices. That’s right, just like other Bioware games, there are a lot of story choices to make, and although their impact may vary at times, they still are taken into account long term in multiple expansions.
