About The Border:
I think the game has an awesome concept. The story mimcs old 80’s and 90’s cop movies which is a cool throw back. I loved Hotline Miami when it came out 10 years ago and this has the same type of feel to it, just without the mindless slaughter (unless you just want less points). I like the options it gives you as you progress as to how you want to clear out each level. Not killing suspects is challenging but well rewarded if you can do it and get the A+. It’s a bit short but the random level generator provides endless levels if you want to keep going as well as trying to A+ every level if you’re into that. It can be challenging at times and a little luck is required to clear a level perfectly such as enemy spawns. Definitely worth $15. I just hope they drop more DLC. It’s amazing how you made me hate this game with one single stage. The stage involves finding and defusing a bomb in 4 minutes over a large map. This design choice for this mission is really poor, and the odds of winning are low. You can’t play slow and tactical because of the timer, and if you dare rush through the game, you met with repeated cheap deaths. I wouldn’t care about a single mission so much if you didn’t lock me from playing an entirely separate DLC, the Zombie DLC, because the last mission is incomplete and required to proceed with the zombie missions. If I could refund the DLC, I would.
